Mealime is closing on Oct 21: how to keep your recipes

By Kerim Ismail · · Updated

Mealime is closing on October 21, 2026, and Mealime says personal data will be deleted at shutdown. If you still cook from favourites there, save them before then.

Switch in 3 steps

1. Favourite the recipes you want to keep

In Mealime, favourite every recipe you still cook so they are easy to find before October 21. Pro recipes are free until shutdown.

2. Share them to Plateful

Open each favourited recipe, tap Share, and send it straight to the Plateful app. They land organised in your library automatically: ingredients, steps, nutrition per serving. No copy-pasting links into notes.

3. Plan your week

Drag recipes onto days, or leave them on the shelf until you are ready. Send ingredients to your shopping list with one tap: sorted by aisle, amounts added up, shared with everyone at home.

3 months free for Mealime users

Use the code MEALIME to get 3 months of Plateful free. You can cancel anytime. After the trial it’s $5.99/month or $59.99/year (US). One subscription covers the whole household, and everything is shared.

FAQ

Unknown. Share the recipes you care about into Plateful before the 21st while Mealime is still live.

How is Plateful different from Meals Hub?

Meals Hub is the official successor inside Albertsons apps. Plateful is independent, for recipes from anywhere.

What about allergies and diets?

You can adapt a recipe and see what changed. It does not auto-screen allergies, so check ingredients yourself.
